MACPAC intends to have a package of recommendations on the future of children’s coverage completed by the time a new Congress convenes in 2017, when the expiration of CHIP funding will once again be pressing on policymakers. This presentation reviews criteria for assessing children’s coverage options and explores the five broad children’s coverage options presented at prior meetings in greater depth.
