This presentation provides a summary of a draft chapter in the June 2015 Report to Congress on Medicaid and CHIP, on coverage of Medicaid dental benefits for adults. Along with a discussion on the impact of poor oral health, dental coverage in general, recent trends in dental benefits, and current adult dental benefits in Medicaid, the chapter will address disparities in dental care, dental care for adults age 65 and older, and oral cancer.
