In November 2015, MACPAC executive director Anne Schwartz testified on MACPAC’s behalf before the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health Subcommittee. The hearing discussed five bills aimed at improving the Medicaid and Medicare programs. MACPAC’s testimony focused on reporting of provider-level data on supplemental payments and contributions to the non-federal share, issues addressed in two of the bills the Subcommittee considered, H.R. 2151 and H.R. 1362.
