EXHIBIT 43. Access to and Experience of Care among Non-Institutionalized Individuals Age 0-18 by Primary Source of Health Coverage, 2021, MEPS Data

Using data from the 2021 Medicaid Expenditure Panel Survey, access-to-care measures for non-institutionalized children age 0 through 18 are shown in total and in three insurance coverage categories, representing the respondents’ primary source of health coverage in 2021: private coverage, Medicaid or the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and uninsured.
