On April 16, 2015, CMS released a proposed rule that would permanently extend the availability of the Affordable Care Act’s 90 percent federal match for the development of new eligibility and enrollment systems and the 75 percent match for these systems’ operations. Areas the Commission is considering for comment include improving the eligibility process, enhancing data collection and reporting, and expanding administrative capacity.
