This presentation recaps recent MACPAC site visits in three states, part of an ongoing project to better understand specific state approaches to value-based purchasing. MACPAC conducted semi-structured interviews with officials and stakeholders in Connecticut, Maryland, and Oklahoma to get a clearer picture of factors that affected these states’ model choices and designs, as well as policy and implementation issues and evaluation methods.
