In 2014 and 2015, MACPAC conducted seven focus groups in California, Massachusetts, and Ohio, to better understand the early impact of the Financial Alignment Initiative demonstrations from beneficiaries’ perspectives. Mike Perry of PerryUndem Research/Communications, the contractor for this project, joins MACPAC staff to brief the Commission, presenting focus group findings on participants’ views of the enrollment process; their knowledge of the program; communication issues; and what they reported about care coordination and access to services.
