States have a number of ways in which they can expedite Medicaid eligibility determinations and enrollment for individuals in need of home- and community-based services. This session focused specifically on level of care determinations and person-centered planning processes. MACPAC staff presented background on these two topics, as well as preliminary findings from interviews with state officials. The session concluded with next steps.
