The Office of the Actuary at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has identified prescription drug spending as a key driver in the increase in overall health care spending from 2013 to 2014. This session provides an overview of trends in Medicaid spending for prescription drugs and describes current Medicaid policy with respect to coverage and rebates.
