Beginning in 2016, MACPAC is required to submit an annual report to Congress regarding Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments. The staff presentation briefly reviews Medicaid DSH payment policy; provides an update on reductions originally scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2014; and outlines the requirements for the MACPAC report on DSH.
